INSTALLATION GUIDE - Douglas A-26A Invader

Extract all the files into your CFS2 or FS2000/FS2002 root folder. The necessary sub-folders will be created automatically. **FS2000/02 users should pay particular attention to the note below concerning FS2000/02 sounds !

Bomb bay opens on spoiler key, by default this is the '/' key.

CFS2 USERS :

Some CFS2 weapons are included. Extract the seperate weapons zipfile into the CFS2 root folder the same way as you did for the aircraft.

The default sounds are CFS2 P-38 Lightning.

Panel info -

shift-2 - autopilot and nav instrumentation
shift-3 - (in CFS2 nothing) in FS2K/02 activates the GPS if FS02 panel.cfg is used (see below).

FS2000 / FS2002 USERS :

1) Note on PANELS : an alternative panel.cfg is supplied which is for FS2000 / 02 use only. This will allow use of the GPS facility. Just rename the existing file to panel CFS.cfg and change panel FS2K.cfg to panel.cfg.

2) Note on SOUNDS : IMPORTANT ! alternative sound.cfg's are supplied which will need to be used for the aircraft to work.

FS02 sound.cfg = F-4U Corsair sounds in FS2002

FS2K sound.cfg = Cessna sounds in FS200

Just rename the existing file to sound CFS.cfg and change FS02/FS2K sound.cfg to sound.cfg. Failure to do this will mean the aircraft WILL NOT SHOW IN THE LIST.

General -

TAKE-OFF -

if you have manual rudder enabled, the aircraft will veer to the left on take-off. This is normal and authentic, so be ready to apply rudder when you hit the throttle !
